News: Dynasty Warriors 4 Ships!

Koei today announced that it has shipped Dynasty Warriors 4 for the Xbox. The game takes place during China's Three Kingdoms period, and gives gamers a glimpse of the treachery and romance of that time. Players are thrust into real-time combat on ancient battlefields. The battles intertwine the action and drama of stories based on actual events. The game offers more than 40 playable characters each with a dynamic fighting style, a new weapon experience system, and expansive environments.
"Dynasty Warriors 4 for Xbox provides the most dynamic battlefield melee experience yet. In the revamped Musou Mode, gamers can now choose one of the Three Kingdoms, and can even change characters between stages. New victory conditions will emerge and different events will occur as each battle unfolds. With improved A.I., devastating moves, and a stirring musical score, DW4 is ready to enthrall the Xbox community," said Amos Ip Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at KOEI Corporation. "To further engage the player, we've added Dolby Digital 5.1 sound; a product feature exclusive to the Xbox."
Developed by Koei's internal team, Omega Force, Dynasty Warriors 4 has been rated "T" for teen by the ESRB and retails for about $49.99.
