News: Sony & Nintendo get Half Life 2!?

Don't panic people! It's not nearly as bad as it looks! A recent interview with Doug Lombardi of Valve has shed some new light on the company's future console plans for Half Life 2
First the XBOX news, Doug came right out and confirmed that the stunning sequel would not ship for XBOX till 2004. No big surprise there; but the rumbles really started when Doug talked about the company's multi-console plans! So here it is then, Half Life 2 will come out for the Nintendo's N5 and Sony's PS3. In other words, their "Next-Generation consoles"! Told you there was nothing to panic over! Even if HL2 debuts late in 2004 for XBOX, the game will enjoy at least one year of exclusivity on a Microsoft console!

I dont get it why make s big deal about some gay halo, iv played it on the PC and its crappy, got bored in 5 min, seriously the game has nothing

Nobody cares - the PS3 and GS-CUBE versions will look much better then the fucked up X-Box version. At least we get a console version, though - fuck you X-Box owners!

the best move would be that Microsoft put HALO on the PS2 but not HALO 2 ehhehe they would take lots of cash from the ps2 owner and they would hook them to THE GAME! so halo 2 would sell like hot cakes and that would help xbox too!

I highly doubt those Nintendo-Microsoft rumors are true, and Xbox2 will be backwards compatible, so I could be playing Half-Life 2 on Xbox2's launch day, cuz I doubt HL2 will be out the day PS3 and N5 will be!

Half Life 2 will be looking sharp on N5 and PS3, but by the time the those systems get it I will be playing Halo 3 on my brand new xbox 2. Not to mention I would have been playing Half Life 2 on my xbox for about 1-2.5 years already.
