News: DOA Damsel Gets Her Own Game

We always knew Itagaki liked Kasumi best; but does that mean she deserves her own game? Apperantly it does; Team Ninja and Tecmo recently trademarked the name, Kasumi-Den in Japan! Now this doesn't necessarily mean that our favorite Shinobi has her own title in the works but a recent interview of Tomonobu by Gamespy seems to say other wise!
GameSpy: You recently registered the trademark Kasumi-Den in Japan. Can you give us any details?
Itagaki: Everyone asks me just because I register a trademark, but if tell you the details every time, then I can't even run my business! Well, of course, the fact that we registered this trademark for Kasumi-Den should tell you that we have a big plan for it. If you're a Team Ninja fan you can expect something really nice. It's a very special thing I just told you.
Never one to give a dull interview that Itagaki! We here at XBOXActive, OK mostly Hedgehog, have long known that Team Ninja has had soemthing special in store for this years TGS. Will we be as shocked and shaken as we were when we first saw DOA: Xtreme Beach Volleyball? Not sure, but we don't have long to wait!

Sod's law it won't even come to Xbox... DOA could just be like GTA and Resident Evil... it's exclusive to one machine, but there's always loopholes to get either the game, or elements of, onto another console. Don't forget that Tecmo got really pi$$ed with us Xbox owners - remember the hoo-ha regarding the naked chix on DOAXBV? and as far as I can recall Tecmo have announced NOTHING new for the Xbox in recent times, other than what they are currently working on, so they'll probably finish those games and then jump ship. I do hope i'm wrong though, as those guys at Team Ninja are the b0ll0x, and I could do with DOA4 at somepoint soon.

Itagaki had better have something good coming with this. I mean GOOD. He and his team haven't put out a really good game for a very long time now.

Kasumi is a ninja if I remembered correctly. To be honest, I might be the only one who feels this way but I just might be getting tired of all these ninja games...
