Hello again XBOXActive, it?s your old pal Hedgehog Boy back from his little hiatus. I hope Tails behaved himself while I was gone. To put some rumors to rest, no pun intended, I did NOT spend the whole of last week playing Star Wars: KOTOR. Alright I didn?t spend all of it playing that ever amazing game! The old Hog was busily working on a secret little project of his that?s been in the works for quite some time. Uh oh, I?ve probably said to much already, better force feed you some rumors before anybody starts asking questions!
Slippery Little Thief!
While Eidos? Deus Ex: Invisible War appears on target to hit XBOX before year?s end; the same can?t be said for the developers other big upcoming title. The game, Thief III being developed by Ion Storm, might just make it out on PC before Christmas but the XBOX version isn?t looking to make the cut. Even though both games are being created using the same code, I wouldn?t count on Thief being under the tree this year!
The Hedgehog?s Take-Might be tough on you, but it?s a relief for your bank account!

Sony Gets HALO!
HAHA made you faint! Now get off the ground it?s not what you think. While Microsoft may be bitter rivals with Sony and Nintendo in the living room, it sees them as marketable platform providers when it comes to handhelds. Microsoft has already confirmed support for the GBA. Banjo Pilot being the most recent addition, and while the PSP is still over a year off Microsoft has no reason not to put games on it as well. While saying a portable version of HALO is on the way is probably premature its not out of the question for the future!

Microsoft has a whole hard drive full of crazy ideas and concepts for the future of XSN, wanna here about one? SHUT UP of course you do! Anyways in the future wouldn?t it be cool to log onto XSN and watch a reel of the top plays of the day? How about here about some of the biggest tournaments going on or get updated on future game download dates? It would be easy to do all these things separately and piecemeal, but it would be a whole lot cooler if they gave it to you in an ESPN style webcast! It?s not as crazy as you might think, such a show would certainly get every sports gamer fired up. Come on, who wouldn?t wanna see their game winning 40 yard field goal on a TV show!?
The Hedgehog?s Take- If they ever have a top ten worst plays of the week expect to see me there, I suck at sports games!
KOTOR is really the best Star Wars well anything I?ve scene in decades. I won?t spoil anything, but this game has a plot twist that rivals the whole ?I AM YOUR FATHER? bit from Episode 5! Just hope when you get the game you have enough time to finish it. Because come the end of August its the holiday rush and time for Microsoft to get it on!

Your stuff is great for all of us that don't spend every waking moment searching the web for news and rumors, keep it up. And as for M.S., I doubt they'll sell out and port HALO to any sony product. I can see them making their own portable games for it to make money off them, but not HALO or any other Xbox games, just won't happen.

I don't think Microsoft feels in direct comabt with Nintendo.. MS pretty much knows they have secured the # 2 spot for now.. Therefore they have nothing to lose by supporting the GBA, while not full-fledge support... Sony is a different matter in my opinion, I think it will be a cold day in hell before anything MS will be showing up on ANY sony system.
